The second aspect of the “tap water train” involves the actual treatment of the water. The United States is still using pre-World War I treatment strategies that just don’t remove many contaminants in today’s water. In Europe, several other more updated technologies are both available and utilized. These technologies include the use of ozone, ultraviolet light treatment, the use of activated charcoal and treatments involving reverse osmosis. Sometimes different treatment strategies are used together. These superior methods are rarely used in the USA and are not required by the government.
I have come accross a forum where the President of the Aquasana jumps in and try to justify the quality of his filer. He is the same guy who owns websites like www.WaterFilterComparisons.net. I do not know the quality of Aquasana filter but the he got caught by writing review by opening other account. The other guy involved in discussion caought him by checking the IP iddress of his computer. So his integrity is questionable. Because of this I wont buy Aquasana.
